 ERASTE AUTIN - A standout fullback from Louisiana who earned prep All-America recognition…Ranked among the nation’s top five fullback prospects by National Bluechips and that publication named him to its All-America Team …Received All-America honors from PrepStar and that publication ranked him among the top 20 runningbacks in the southeast…Ranked among the top 20 overall players, and top four runningbacks, in the state of Louisiana by SuperPrep…A two-year starter at fullback who rushed for nearly 700 yards with 12 TDs in 2000
 DALLAS BAKER - One of the state’s top receivers in 2000 who received prep All-America honors…A SuperPrep All-America selection and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 30 wide receivers…A PrepStar All-America selection and that magazine ranked him among the top 15 wide receivers in the southeast…A Prep Football Report All-America selection and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 25 wide receivers…Named Central Florida’s Player of the Year in 2000 after catching 68 passes for 1,140 yards (16.8 apc) with 16 TD catches…First-team All-State (4A) in 2000… Nephew of Wes Chandler, a Gator great wide receiver who was the third overall selection in the first-round of the 1978 NFL Draft by New Orleans.
 VERNELL BROWN - The Gainesville Sun's 2000 Area Offensive Player of the Year…Received All-Southeast Region recognition from PrepStar in its “athlete” category …First-team All-State (5A) recognition …Threw for 1,733 yards with 13 TDs and rushed for 552 yards and three TDs in 2000 in addition to having four interceptions on defense…Starting point guard on Gainesville’s 2000 5A state championship basketball team…Father, Vernell Sr. (1982-85), and uncle, Johnell (1979-82), played football for the Gators.
 WESLEY BRYANT - A top offensive lineman from North Carolina who earned prep All-America honors…Received All-America honors from PrepStar and that publication ranked him among the top eight offensive linemen in the Atlantic region …Ranked among the top 25 players overall, and top five offensive linemen, in the state of North Carolina by SuperPrep…Named to Prep Football Report’s All-Mid -Atlantic Team and that publication ranked him among the top two offensive linemen in that region….A first-team All-State selection in North Carolina.
 LANCE BUTLER - A standout offensive lineman from North Carolina who earned prep All-America honors…Received All-America honors from PrepStar and that publication ranked him among the top three offensive linemen in the Atlantic region…Ranked among the nation’s top 25 offensive tackles by National Bluechips and that publication named him to its All-America team…Ranked among the top 10 players overall, and the top offensive linemen, in the state of North Carolina by SuperPrep….Ranked among the top three offensive linemen in the Mid-Atlantic region by Prep Football Report…A first-team all-state selection…A three-year starter on the offensive line (sophomore and junior at guard and tackle as a senior) who was also the starting center on the West Davidson HS basketball team…An outstanding student who is a member of school’s Beta Club (must have at least a 3.6 GPA for membership).
 DESHAWN CARTER - Considered one of the nation’s top prep defensive backs in 1999…Signed with UF in February 2000 but did not enroll when fall term began in late August…Named to SuperPrep’s All-America Team for 1999 and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 11 defensive backs…Named to National Bluechips All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top eight cornerback prospects.
 JONATHAN COLON - One of the state’s elite offensive linemen in 1999 who gained prep All-America honors…Signed with UF in February 2000 but did not enroll for the fall term when classes began in late August…Attended Bridgton Academy in Maine in fall of 2000…Named to SuperPrep’s All-America Team in 1999 and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 15 offensive linemen…First-team All-State selection in 1999 at Miami Central HS.
 MIKE DEGORY - Considered one of the nation’s elite prep offensive linemen in 2000…Named to PrepStar’s All-America Dream Team and that publication ranked him among the top 15 offensive linemen in the nation and the top five in the southeast…Named to SuperPrep’s All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 10 offensive linemen…National Bluechips ranked him among the top four center prospects in the nation…MVP of the state’s 6A state championship game in 2000, an almost unheard of achievement for an offensive lineman…Three year starter…First-team All-State (6A) selection…3.8 GPA.
 JARVIS HERRING - One of the state’s top defensive backs in 2000 who earned prep All-America honors…Received All-America recognition from National Bluechips and that publication ranked him among the top 16 cornerbacks in the nation…Received prep All-America recognition from PrepStar and that publication ranked him among the top five defensive backs in the southeast….Ranked among the nation’s top 30 cornerbacks by rivals.com…A first-team All-State (3A) selection in 2000 and a second-team All-State pick as a junior when he was credited with 19 pass deflections…83 tackles and six interceptions in 2000 with 41 catches as a wide receiver….A three-year starter in the secondary.
 LARRY KENDRICK - Considered one of the state’s top two-way standouts (receiver and safety) in 2000 who garnered prep All-America honors as a receiver….Named to National Bluechips All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the top three players in the nation in its “utility back” category…Named to PrepStar’s All-America Team and that publication ranked him among the top six wide receivers in the southeast…First-team All-State in 2000 (class 3A)…53 catches for 1,306 yards (24.6 yards per catch) with 16 TDs as a senior while recording 98 tackles with 6 interceptions in 2000…61 catches for 1,288 yards (21.1 apc) with 20 TD catches as a junior.
 INGLE MARTIN - Considered one of the nation’s top prep quarterbacks in 2000…Named to prestigious Parade All-America Team…Named to PrepStar’s All-America DreamTeam and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top dozen QBs…Ranked among the nation’s top five prep QBs by National Bluechips…Ranked among the nation’s top 20 QBs by Prep Football Report and among the nation’s top 15 signal-callers by rivals.com…Named to SuperPrep’s All-America team and that publication ranked him the top player in the state of Tennessee and among the nation’s top 25 QBs…A two-time Division II Player of the Year in Tennessee…Led Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville to three consecutive Tennessee state championships with 32 consecutive wins… As a senior was 62-137 for 964 passing yards with seven TDs and also rushed for 935 yards…As a junior, 97-140 passing for 1,450 yards and 14 TDs…Was 6-of-9 on field goal attempts in 2000 with three field goals of better than 50 yards.
 JONATHAN MARVIN - A top offensive lineman from North Carolina who earned prep All-America honors…A National Bluechips All-America selection and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 15 offensive guards…Ranked among the top 15 players overall, and top two offensive linemen, in the state of North Carolina by SuperPrep…A first-team All-State selection in 2000 and a two-time first-team All-Conference choice…Received All-Atlantic Region honors from PrepStar and that publication ranked him among that region’s top 20 offensive linemen…Father, Mickey, was a standout offensive lineman at the University of Tennessee and with the Oakland Raiders.
 TODD MCCULLOUGH - One of the state’s top linebackers in 2000 who earned prep All-America recognition…Received All-America recognition from National Bluechips and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 10 players at strong-side linebacker…Ranked among the state’s top six linebackers by SuperPrep…A second-team All-State (2A) selection in 1999 and 2000…Named to Florida Times-Union (Jacksonville) Super 24 Team….111 tackles, 59 solo, in 2000 with six QB sacks and two interceptions.

 SYLVESTER MCGREW - A standout defensive lineman from Louisiana who earned prep All-America honors…Received National Bluechips All-America recognition and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 30 defensive tackles…Also ranked among the nation’s top 30 defensive tackle prospects by rivals.com…Received All-America recognition from PrepStar and that publication ranked him among the top eight defensive linemen in the southeast…Ranked among Louisiana’s top 20 players by SuperPrep…80 tackles with 14 QB sacks in 2000…Father, Sylvester, was a defensive lineman on the New York Giants, 1987 Super Bowl champion team.
 MAURICE MITCHELL - Considered one of the nation’s elite prep offensive linemen in 1999…Signed with Alabama in February 2000 but did not enroll and attended Fort Union Military Academy in Virginia… The Georgia standout was named to PrepStar’s All-America Dream Team for 1999 and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top ten offensive line prospects…A two-way standout (OT/DT) at Albany Dougherty HS.
 BRYAN SAVELIO - A junior college All-America selection at defensive tackle in 2000 by both JC Gridwire and NJCAA…National Bluechips named him to its Junior College All-America Team and also named him to its JC Super 24 Team. That publication ranked him among the nation’s top four JC defensive tackles…A two-time All-Conference choice at Mesa Community College…Enrolled at UF in January and will participate in spring drills when they start in March…Ranked second on squad in 2000 in total tackles with 87 and posted 24 total tackles for loss, a school record…Credited with eight QB sacks, two caused fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 2000.
 ANTOINE SHARP - A two-way standout from Jacksonville Bolles HS who earned prep All-America honors…Received All-America honors from National Bluechips and that publication ranked him among the nation’s top 10 prospects at flanker…Received All-America recognition from PrepStar and that publication ranked him among the southeast’s top 10 wide receiver prospects…Ranked among the top 40 players in the state, and top four runningbacks, by SuperPrep…In six games in 2000 rushed for 510 yards with an average of 12 yards per carry with seven TDs and also had 300 receiving yards and three TDs.
